Tales of the cyst...

Just to catch you up...

I was supposed to start TTC this month and was all ready for my first IUI. I went in for my CD3 ultrasound and the RE discovered a 21mm cyst on my right ovary - left over froom the beautiful 24mm follicle the month before.

I went back today (2 weeks later) and the cyst is shrinking appropriately and is now 14mm. RE thinks it will be gone in about two more weeks and I should be good to go next month. Yay!

Here's my question....because of the cyst on my ovary, I did not produce any mature follicles this month which means I won't ovulate (right?). So, when will I start my period. I have a pretty normal 13 day luteal phase, but will that change with no ovulation?

My uterine lining was 8.2 this month and normally around this time it is a 10, but I assume this is all thrown off my the stupid cyst.

Guess I just have to wait it out and see. I feel like I live my life in these two week increments between ultrasounds.

    I'm really sorry about all the delays but glad the cyst is shrinking! I have no idea about starting AF. Wouldn't hurt to call the dr?
