Help with siggy pic?

Ok, now that new baby chaos is slowing down a little bit, I'm back to reading/posting on the board.  Can someone tell me how or direct me to instructions on how to post a siggy pic?  I can't seem to figure it out.

    Upload your picture to a photo site (Flickr, TinyPic, Photobucket)

    Get the direct link to your picture and paste it in this code, remove the stars.

    [*img]INSERT URL HERE[/img*] 

    Copy your new code into the siggie box under your profile (Click on Community, then Edit my Profile)

    Becki-  I'm going insane!!  I feel like I've tried every version of syntax and either get a box with a red X or the url itself displays.  Any suggestions?

     I posted a pic to Flickr for practice, the url is https://flic.kr/p/8EaboZ

    I've added .jpg but that didn't seem to make it work.

     Do you have any suggestions as to what I should do differently?

    For Flickr, follow these instructions:

    Go to "Share This" above the picture, then select "Grab the HTML/BB Code." Select the image size you want from the pull-down menu (I use small). Copy that code and put it in your signature.
