Still having irregular contractions and still home on short-term disability. Had my OB appt Wed and the internal cervix was still closed. Will have to stay on modified bed rest until 36 weeks though. Started working on decorating the baby's room. It is now painted and the crib is set up. My next project is installing cordless blinds in her room. Tomorrow the window-treatment people are supposed to come and take the measurements.

feeling good, just tired now that its getting to the end.  awful acid reflux, too, yuck!  the baby is still breech, so my repeat c/s is 11/3, unless something opens up on 10/28 and then i'll be moved up a week.  i wont know until it gets closer, though.  2 appts next week, one check up and another u/s to check my thyroid and that all is well w/the baby.  bringing dd to the appt so she can see her little sister or brother!  i can't wait!

I know things could change at any moment and I know I won't be pregnant forever, but I'm really starting to get frustrated. I think I'm just not sleeping well and that makes me cranky and then DS is being a typical 2-year old and I feel like such a bad mom for not being able to keep up with him or for having less patience than usual. Blah. No progress at OB appt on Thursday, so I have 2 NSTs scheduled for next week and will either be induced on 10/3 or 10/4 if I have to. See? There is an "end" in sight, but it just doesn't feel that way lately. So many people told me 2nd babies come early and I made the mistake of believing that. I guess the baby still has until Sunday to prove everyone right. Good luck to all of you!

Hi everyone!  Not a very cheerful update from me this week;  I caught a really bad cough from my DD last week and after suffering through it all weekend I decided to take my OB up on the offer to get a Z pack, just in case it is bacterial - I think it was because the antibiotic seems to have gotten rid of it, but the side effect was a terribly upset stomach and digestion for a day or two which really drained me of what little energy I had.  I think I'm back to normal today but still feeling extremely tired most of the time.  On top of everything else, I learned at my OB appt on Thursday that I have not made any more progress, still 3 cm and 75% effaced, AND my doc is going out of town on Wed so chances seem good that I will have a different doctor for my delivery. 

Westcoaststyle - I feel exactly like you.  I was completely convinced this baby would be here by now;  my DD was born at 38w 6d and everyone had me believing this one would be even earlier, including my doc.  Now I am just frustrated because I am having no indications that this kid wants to come out anytime soon.  It is so hard to keep up with my DD and I feel like I am burdening my DH and mom with so much because it is such an effort to even get up off the couch.

I am right there with you ladies. I am so tired and am having a terrible time trying to keep up with Brigid who now has a cold on top of her 2 week-long teething/diarrhea issues. Plus the weather here just went super hot again. Ugh, there go my ankles!
