? about Rockin Green

So I use Rockin Green but diapers still have a weird smell. I thought it was ammonia and started using less soap to the point where I am using 1/2 tablespoon per load. The diapers still smell,should I use more detergent instead of less? My wash routine is rinse, then wash,then rinse again. Also it's not taking away stains, I don't mind the stains alone my main concern is the smell. I am worried the diapers aren't getting clean.

Anyone has any suggestions? TIA

I bought a used diaper and it had a smell problem, so I used 1 1/2 Tbs of RnG in HOT water in a bucket, and let it soak all day (morning till night), then threw in with my other dipes, ran a double rinse, then a hot wash with 2 cold rinses, and the smell was gone and hasn't come back.

i was having that problem so now my routine is...

1 1/2- 2 tbsp of RG and I let it soak in hot water over night

do a wash with hot water

cold rinse x 2
