Daycare recs in the Pasadena area?

I'm looking for daycares close to our house since, I don't know where I'll be working.

We're renting in the Pasadena area. Does anyone know of any great daycares in that general area? Thank you!

Someone just asked this question on a list serve that I am on last week and I found out that there are only two licensed day cares in your area.

The only 2 licensed child care providers in the area (both Glen Burnie), I know of is Lia Mack and I. I don't have an openings until January, you may try Lia and see if she does. I know that both of us cloth diapered our own kiddos, I can only speak for my self but am more then happy to cloth diaper.

 I will say that Erin seems wonderful and I have thought about using her for occasional babysitting for our son.

There are many licensed day care (both family day care and day care centers).  I am also looking for day care in the Pasadena/Glen Burnie area.  If you look into https://www.mdchildcare.org you can search in your area depending on the age of your child, the hours you are looking for, etc.

I second marylandchildcare.org.

There are a ton of daycares, both centers and home-based providers in Pasadena. I'm not sure what your preference is......there is a Goddard School which is supposed to be very good. They might be pricey though. Good luck!

Yes sorry.  I misread what she wrote.  She wrote that SHE only knew two of them not that there were only two.  Sorry about the confusion!

Also check craigslist.  A lot of licensed providers post on there.  We found our in home provider on there (Clone Mom) and we love her.
