I'd love to hear how y'all are hanging in there.
I'm nervous about how a third is going to change the dynamic of our family. I'm afraid of being outnumbered and questioning my sanity already.
If you already have three and are expecting 4 or more, I'd love to hear how having three is ... good and bad ...
Re: anyone expecting #3 (and beyond)
I'm not (yet) but best of luck to you darling.
YET!?
Tell me more, gorgeous ...
DH's dissertation defense is set for Dec. I will not have another baby while he's in grad school......so we'll see.
Maybe next summer we'll try. Depends on job situations to be honest. 3 in daycare is a no-go on our current budget, DD would be in school the following fall. If I could plan my life (snorts) we'd get pg this time next year, have an early summer baby, then DD would be in school by the time #3 would be in daycare.
Wow...saw this post and didn't expect to be the only one!!
I am expecting #4. However, I do have a large gap between number #2 and #3 which I am very positive made things MUCH easier for me.
I'm not going to lie, it is going to be hard. BUT, you will figure it out. Trust yourself.
Going from 2 to 3 is a hard jump because you are used to having 2 hands or 2 of you to manage 1 each. But you will find your groove and what makes it work for you.
My biggest advice is to include the older children however you can. This will help them to feel apart and embrace your big family together, rather than you feeling so split up and overwhelmed. A big one can always fetch a diaper, take one to the trash, help push the stroller, "help" carry the car seat carrier etc. Feel free to use these things as ways to keep everyone together and going in the same direction ;0)
Best of luck to you....you will do great!!
