Now bedrest will never be lifted...

I went in for a routine visit.  I've been having growth u/s because of possible IUGR, and during the u/s the tech found that my cervix is only about 2cm long.

She told the dr who checked me and I'm also 3cm dilated and 80% effaced, so off to labor and delivery I went.  I've been having no contractions since the scare at 25 weeks, but I've apparently been dilating.  They don't know why.  The labor detection test came back negative, which they told me isn't 100% conclusive, especially since they have no idea what's going on with me, but based on that and no contractions they sent me home with my steroid shot.  I go back in tomorrow for the second shot, and from here we pray that the little dude can stay in there a few more weeks!

 Oh, but he's about 5lbs, so that is good!

    I'm glad you're getting the steroid shots! This bedrest stuff sucks a$$ for sure, and you've been on it way longer than me. Hang in there mama.
