Annabelle is on the move. She is now standing on her own, for about 10 seconds. Although her new favorite game is to stand and then fall forward or backward and hoping you will catch her. She has the biggest belly laughs.
She now says good, dog, duck, baby, hi, yeah (haha), momma, daddy and NO.
Lenebene (nestie) just took family pictures on Saturday. They turned out wonderful. She only posted 6 teasers, so I'll have to wait a few more days for the rest.
Two more weeks until Annabelle's First Birthday. I can't believe my baby will be one.
Dylan is scooting around like crazy! I took a video of him talking to the "Family Guy" DVD's that we have after he scooted his way over there (& man did he want to chat with them! Every time I moved him, he went right back!). Not sure if this will work:
He's loving food. We had him on rice cereal & suddenly he stopped liking the taste (kept making sour faces!). I got desperate & mixed in some pears. Now he loves it again!! He's also VERY interested in our food. Here's another vid I took of DH & DS playing. When DH would lift him up, DS would stare at & reach for the dinner plate, lol!
Now the crappy part: I think (& hope) DS is teething. The past 3 nights he's been waking up once or twice a night upset, pulling on his ears & almost impossible to calm back down. I end up having to take him out of his crib, rock him in the glider & sing to him. Then, once I go to put him back, he'll wake up within 2mins. I can't tell you how tired I am! & DH ticked me off last night because he wouldn't get out of bed to help w/ DS even though he knew how tired I was from doing this same thing on Sat & Sun nights!
We already had about a week of this & got him to the point where he was STTN again. This just started up again Sat night. I'm just praying that, if it is teething, the tooth/teeth come in soon!!
DD is putting together sentences - she ratted me out to DH yesterday - telling him "Mommy Mess" when I spilled some flour in the kitchen. STINKER!
We went to Gymboree over the weekend and they do thing where everyone (adults and kids) sit under the big parachute and sing Twinkle, Twinkle. Ella was the only kid who sang and she sang the whole song - it was sooo cute and precious and was inordinately proud of her for being confident enough to sing.
We had a great weekend! The ILs visited (well, that part was just okay, haha.) and they haven't seen DS in 2 months, so it was fun for them to see everything he does now. We went to the Wine Festival and LJ's first baseball game - I only have cell phone pics at work though!
We're headed to our college's homecoming this weekend and are leaving DS overnight for the first time (with my parents). Both nervous and excited!
J, the pictures are gorgeous! Annabelle looks so beautiful.
C, I swear DS is teething too. - at least I hope so. He is running a low grade fever and had an awful night of sleep last night...and is all snotty. I am just praying that it is teeth and nothing else since we are traveling this weekend! Argh!
K, aw - love that confidence!
Happy Birthday, little man. We love you so much!
My favorite money saving tip: I've earned more than $300 in gift cards (Amazon, Starbucks, Southwest!) using SwagBucks for internet searching - and you can too!
It's FREE and EASY!
This is a little late, but I had an u/s about 3 weeks ago. This is the first image of our peanut. The second week in October or so we should find out the gender. DH and I can't wait and need to find out ASAP!
Edit: Sorry it is so little, I am too tired to figure out how to make it bigger.

This U/S gave me the chills. Yay for finding out soon.
Amelia has teeth! She has been a drooling mad woman since about 4 months. No joke, daycare said she is the "drooliest" child that they have ever seen. Thank goodness it has gotten better since she popped not one, but TWO teeth up on Friday at daycare. Poor girl was a mess that whole day. One of them is growing like a weed and the other is just starting. I will have my own little jack o' lantern next month!

that's awesome pic! You have a very willing baby and a u/s tech!
DD is starting to really play with toys and can entertain herself for longer periods of time.
Bad-
DD had her first real sickness- A high fever, a cold AND a double ear infection.
Funny-
DD tried to steal the "other baby's" binky... you know the baby that lives in the mirror on her tummy time mat. She reached for the binky in the mirror and opened her mouth. Of course her binky fell out and bounced away, and the other baby lost her binky too. She got mad and cried.

Nothing for me except my official due date is now Feb 5th. a little frustrating not being sure when I was actually due.
Congrats to everyone else, all the LOs are so adorable.
