When do you do your injections? For some strange reason I was thinking at night was the norm, but then again I have no clue. I would assume you want to keep it consistent, however just curious what you ladies did.
I do all of them in the evening. I am not a morning person to start with.
Plus, all monitoring appointments are in the morning and done by 11 am. After the RE reviews the results, I get a call in the afternoon with any changes in the meds. I think doing them in the evening is the norm.
Also, the trigger shot is usually done in the evening since they ER must be 36 hours later.

My nurse said so you are going to do these each morning and I said no I want to do them all at night. I take all my normal meds at night and have trained myself to never forget and DH is available to do my IM shots at night, whereas in the morning I would have to wake him up (I leave for work before he gets up) and have him do it groggy, which does not sound like a good idea to me. My nurse said that is fine as long as I am consistent. I will probably do the lupron when I get up in the morning but since those are subQ that is no big deal and I can do them myself.

IVF #1 - BFP! It's a boy!!!
You ladies that have hubby's not afraid of needles and able to do the injections are lucky. My DH cannot even think about it and won't even be able to be in the same room as me. Yep, my 6 foot 4, 250 hubs is a scaredy cat when it comes to the medical world.
I take mine at night. I was actually told to do this by my nurse since the meds change based on my response and they call me by 1 or 2 with my instructions.

This! I was told to do them at night so in case I had any changes after my monitoring appointments I wouldn't be "a day behind".

I will do my Follistim at night. I'm not sure if I'll do my HCG and Ganirelix then too or do those in the morning. My injections class is next week so I'll decide then.

same here. All injections were done in the evening.
With my IUI, I was instructed to take the Gonal F at the same time every night (between 6-9).
This cycle, with the Lupron I was instructed to take it at the same time every morning (between 6-9). I think the rest of the meds will be in the evening, though.
Lyse, I'm with you, DH cannot even think about doing my shots! He travels a lot for work, so I guess it is good that I'm not dependant on him. . .

With my first IVF, I did my lupron in the morning and my stim shot in the evening. (Monitoring appts are always in the morning.) It will be the same for my next IVF as well. My DH was sooo nervous to give me my first PIO shot in my butt, but after a few days, he was a pro! He doesn't exactly like needles either, but the PIO is the only one I had him do.

I was given specific instructions by my clinic on whether to do injections in the morning or at night. Lupron was supposed to be between breakfast and lunch. All the rest were supposed to be between 6:00 and 9:00 pm. Except that Lovenox and PIO I can take at anytime during the day.

Re: Shots in the morning or at night?
Both! I do Follistim in the morning and Menopur (and ganrilex when needed) at night. I do them at 8 and 8 so they are 12 hours apart.
Good luck!
