It can't start soon enough!!!

I can't take another week of reruns and nothing on.  Amazingly, I can't find anything to watch on the 342342 channels we do have lol.

Since I started my cycle, I have been laying a little low (questions about why I'm not drinking, were annoying me) and the BCP's are making me more annoyed.  Catch 22 LOL.

So PLEASE bring me some good TV!!  I'm very excited for House tomorrow!

DH and i took 10 minutes today to go through our DVR and set all our favorite shows to record (we switched satellite services in July so all our old setting were lost)!

BTW my job involves a lot of events where there are copious amounts of alcohol. ppl were ALWAYS asking why i wasn't drinking and it was so annoying b/c they would give me that look like, "oh you must be pregnant." i would always just say i was on some medication that i couldn't drink with. it would get sooo annoying.

My job is the same way!  I have an event weds nite, at Rosa Mexicana...which will be about 35 adults binge drinking margarita.  I was thinking of ordering a drink, and letting it sit there...to avoid the questions (bc normally I'd def take a marg).

This really annoys me too!  I like to watch tv before bed, so it does me no good to record them on another TV.  DH wants side by side tv's for his sports insanity.  I may give in, bc it could enable my DVR addiction LOL.

I wish I had asked more questions when setting up our Directv because I guess with their new whole home DVR you can record 2 shows for every HD DVR receiver you have and it all networks into the main DVR and you can watch from any room in the house no matter where you recorded it.  I think Comcast just came out with something similar and Surewest and AT&T both use the Microsoft media platform for their cable services that allow you to record 4 shows.  Alas even with all that said I still only have the ability to record 2 shows too :-(.

I wish I had asked more questions when setting up our Directv because I guess with their new whole home DVR you can record 2 shows for every HD DVR receiver you have and it all networks into the main DVR and you can watch from any room in the house no matter where you recorded it.  I think Comcast just came out with something similar and Surewest and AT&T both use the Microsoft media platform for their cable services that allow you to record 4 shows.  Alas even with all that said I still only have the ability to record 2 shows too :-(.

We so wish we had direct TV.  Manhattan is really tough for a dish.  With all of the highrises, the signals can't reach.  We are forced into Time Warner Cable, almost a monoploy here.

When we talk about moving out of the city...changing cable providers is always high on DH's list!

DH spends at leat an hour a week on the phone, complaining about our cable.  He has all of the sports packages-but they don't compare to direct TV.  Yesterday he was complaining that the college football package...looked like a High School game videoed by a parent.

This is going to be a LOOONG fall LOL.
