Dyeing Hair?

Ok ladies this is my first pregnancy and forgot to ask my Dr. yesterday at my appointment. I have major grey hairs poking through and need to dye my hair. My mom says I can not at all. I've heard some ladies do it after 1st Tri? Has anyone asked their Dr. about this?

I did last week (so close to end of first tri).  I think I waited mainly because I was lazy, not really because I was worried about doing it earlier.  You'll hear lots of different answers.  Do what you're comfortable with.

There are several active posts about this within the last day or so. Check them out. The net-net is everyone has a different opinion or has been given different advice. Do what you are comfortable with and what your doc suggests - at least you'll have peace of mind.

Ok I think my mom is a bit old school with old amonea hair dyes. I am going to just call the office and see what they say. I really want to get it done!

For my entire pg w/ DD I used an ammonia-free hair dye. But I waited longer than usual before dying the entire time.

There is no real proof it's harmful. The conservative thing to do is skip it, but my roots are already like 3 inches long, so I doubt I'll last much longer.

I did grab a 10-minute formula last time, so it will be faster than normal. That makes it safer, right?
