we had 2 diaper champs - from DS1... one upstairs and one downstairs- but we rarely used them with the twins... with twins they fill up SOOOO fast and raelly just can't hold the smell in enough.
Instead we put poopy diapers in a covered garbage out on our back porch... and put pee diapers in a regular covered garbage that keeps the smell in fine. If they poop when we are upstairs we put it into a little baggie (from grocery store- we reuse the crap out of them! lol).... then can bring it downstairs to throw out in the porch garbage. if i change them downstairs i just throw the diaper into the garbage- no baggie.
when they are babies it's not so bad- b/c the poop doesn't smell that horrilbe.... that's when we used the champs- but once they started solids (6mo) that was it! So really not worth it IMO.
We use the diaper genie and have no problems. Since newborns go through so many diapers (our son even more than our daughter since he often pees on us mid diaper change) the smell never gets out of the genie. We have to empty the diaper genie every 4 days or so.
We have one upstairs and one downstairs. So far so good! We do have to empty every few days but it's really easy to do...only takes a minute! I like the genies better than the Diaper Champ because you don't have to touch anything with your hands.
LOVE my diaper denie deluxe II. That thing is amazing! Can't say enough about it. It's a pain to buy the refills but seriously it does NOT smell. And my kids eat baby food, so their poops smell. No problem with it at all!
we put one on our registry and got it .. put it upstairs in their bedroom and then about a month ago, we purchased one for downstairs. Glad we have 2 of them.
I had a diaper genie with my daughter and it just got to expensive with the refills. It filled up quick with one, I can only imagine 2. I am going to buy something that takes regular trashbags so it doesn't cost me so much for the refills.

We LOVED our diaper genie so much that we got a 2nd one for down stairs - we had a trash can with a lid, air freshener and used the Esp for Baby scented diaper bags and it still smelled!

I have had the best luck with this! No odors, easy to change, takes regular trash bags...

After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!

Diaper genie II, one the BEST.THINGS.EVER.
Totally worth the price you pay for bags, I don't want my house smelling like poo.

We LOVE our diaper genie. I wish I had 2!
My friends and family are always saying how my house never smells like diapers - even with 2 babies!
