HSG tomorrow - do's and dont's?

Hi all!  I'm scheduled for an HSG test tomorrow morning and wanted to make sure I didn't forget to do something and/or do something I shouldn't do.

I have heard to take ibuprofen about an hour before and to bring a pad with me for after.  Any other words of advice?

    i totally forgot to take anything before, but you should. it only took about 30 min, if that, and they provided the pad for me.
    TTC since 9-5-09 BFP #1 7-19-10 missed m/c 9-3-10 BFP #2 1-12-11 stick baby! BFP #3 9-13-14. First u/s 10-10-14 TWINS!!

    I suggest taking them a half hour before because you will probably be in the waiting room for a bit.

    Mine was completely painless...a little uncomfortable when they were trying to get to my cervix b/c it's at a weird angle, but not painful.

    Thanks ladies!!!  We leave in a half hour.  My heart is pounding, but I think it will calm down once I get there.
