should i be worried?

I will probably call my doc's office tomorrow,but i keep getting these sharp pains that seem to be in my cervix area.  i am almost at 8 weeks pregnant.  I also still have some slight cramping. Is this a normal pregnancy symptom?  I think i read somewhere on here that the cervix is extra full with blood.   Did/does anyone else experience this? I am a little worried and just wondering!  Thanks so much!

Yes some people refer to it as lightening crotch. Now, if you have spotting make sure to call the doctor. I had that sensation off and on for the past few days and always spotted afterward.

Not to sound weird but google "lightening crotch" lol.  That sounds like what you are having (I know very technical diagnosis).  I remember having this with my first 2.
