Dating U/S

Well it didn't go as I had hoped based on LMP I should be 6W 3D according to U/S I am 5W 2D.  I do ovulate late but not that late.  I usually o'd at day 18 or 19.  So they ran a third HCG test and now I wait for those results until tomorrow.  I had a missed MC before DD at 8 weeks, I didn't know until 11 weeks.  I don't think I will feel good about this until I make it passed my 12 weeks.

Being pregnant is stressful.  I am ready for baby #2 but not the worry about making it through first tri.  I forgot how this feels.

With DD they put me about 5 days after my LMP.

I'm with ya..  You'd think the worry would be less and less with each passing pregnancy, but at least in my world, it gets more and more.  You're not alone..

I wasn't temping this time around but based on before I was always at 18-19 days without any exceptions and I know the exact date we concieved.  (not rocket science to figure that out this month).  And it was right on track with the ovulation dates (not a coincidence, we were trying).

Well, not necessarily. You may have had sex only one time on CD19, but you may have ovulated as late as CD 23 which means you conceived on that date.

You don't have to have conceived on the day you had sex.

You are right.  It could have taken several days to implant as well so that would date it later also.  That's why I post here, positive reinforcement!  Thanks!

   Just wanted to say that my first U/S I measured a full 2 weeks behind. I was certain that it would not end well but my doc never questioned it. As you can see by my signature, everything turned out just fine. I really wish you the best of luck for a happy and healthy 9.

    (Can you tell that I already miss being pregnant!?)

Yep. Sperm can live up to five days in your uterus. So you could have Oed later than the day you had sex.
