Q about # of weeks pg

I am so confused!  My last AF CD1 was August 21st.  I had my b2b IUIs CD 10 + 11 (Aug 31 & Sept 1) and I know I O the first of two eggs between the IUI's.  So that makes my baby 2 weeks 1 day old right?  But Am I 3 weeks 5 days pg based on AF or 4 weeks 1 day pg because I know when I O?

I went based on O.  Since I O'd on day 15 though, it is only one day different than based on lmp.  I think my OB office when I graduate will go by lmp even if I was certain of O date which is fine.

It might make sense to do it based on when you O, but you don't start counting from the day of O. Typically, weeks in pregnancy are calculated starting on the day of your last menstrual period. So, you may want to take the number of weeks and days since O and then add two weeks, which is the typical time to get to O. Or, you could do it from your last menstrual period. Either way, 2 weeks 1 day is not the answer, and it should be more along the lines of 3 weeks 5 days or thereabouts.

I think I have my head wrapped around it now, sort of!.  Thanks for the link.  So based on my O date I am 4 weeks today!   My pregnacy journal that I bought is based on the Lunar Months so in it I am only on day 14.  And it starts at week 1 not week 0, so tomorrow I am 15 days or Week 3 day 1 even though based on O I am week 4 day 1.  DH helped me out as well.  I think I am to tired tonight to fully understand.  I think I am just going to stick with... I'm pregnant!  lol
