USA Baby Ft Lauderdale

Anyone have any exprience with them, good or bad? 

We ordered our furniture from them this past wkend, but now we want to make an adjustment to the order, and they are giving us a hard time, even though they stated we can modify order before we placed it!

Dh got into a huge fight w/ them yesterday, and now I'm acting as the middle-man in order to smooth things out... we need the furniture!  LOL

    Yes, in a large shopping center that includes Ross and Publix.

    Ah ok, yes they have a great selection of furniture there. The owner has always been nice to DH and I but I have read many past negative reviews online about that store. I'm assuming its after large purchases, such as in your situation. I'm so sorry to hear your going through more headaches mija. Totally not what you need in this stage. Let me know how it all plays out. Definitely hope it all works out for the best and you have your boys sets in the house asap.

    Thanks Jessi!  When we placed the order, DH specifically asked if we could modify it before the pieces arrived... owner said YES.  That was Saturday.  Tuesday, DH called to modify... from 2 small dressers to one large dresser, and the man said NO.  If we wanted to modify, it had to be 2 pieces for 2 pieces (even though truck hadn't left manufacturer and he could cancel order).

    He offered to give us a store credit for one of the cancelled pieces, but that would be way too much money to have in store credit from a store that is 1) overpriced to begin with (furniture is reasonably priced, but other items aren't), and 2) too far from us (good 45 min drive).

    Now I'm playing good cop and trying to reason w/ him... let's see if it works.  ::fingers crossed::

    Let me guess the 1 large furniture piece is less money than the 2 small dressers? Store credit for cancelled pieces so the money is still guaranteed to go back in his pocket. Ugh! I hate money hungry skeezers. Sounds like ideal baby. lmao All we can do is learn from these experiences and roll with the punches. Never thought that dishing thousands of $$$ would become so complicated.

    The difference in price is less, but not terribly less.  And he only got the sale of the cribs b/c Baby Love won't guarantee our cribs, so he actually made more $ than he expected!

    I don't have any advice.  So sorry you are going through this.  The only piece we ordered from a baby store was the crib and we even had trouble with that.  It was from Ideal Baby (bc my mom insisted and she ordered it from there in a passive-aggressive move to get her way) and it arrived in the wrong color; even though, the purchase order had the correct color listed.  We had to go back another day to pick up the correct crib.
