Not even sure where to post! so its been quite a while since I have posted, but just wanted to (1) vent and (2) see if anyone has experienced the same....I have 2 great little girls. We are not actively ttc at this time. However, we did have "a moment" around the 12th day of my cycle. I charted while TTC my daughters, but because we were not ttc, I was not charting. So, fast forward to the present...I am 9 days late. I have taken a gazillion HPT's all with a BFN! I called my midwife (who I adore!) and she explained it was prob. late due to the change in season and it getting dark earlier! HUH?!?!?! I was speechless! Realy?! It couldn't have anything to do with the unprotected sex I had?! Has anyone heard of this? Could there still be hope for a BFP? Thanks in advance!

She is probably right. If you charted you probably know that the follicular phase can change every month. You likely ovulated late. I had a 53 day cycle in January, ovulating on CD41. AF was 23 days "late" but obviously, my period wasn't actually late. That was about 4 months after weaning, everything was messed up. If your only "moment" was the 12th day of your cycle and you are 9 days "late", you are likely not pregnant.

I think it's actually possible that seasons affect your cycles, it sounds reasonable to me. I think that if at 9 days late you're still getting BFNs you probably aren't KU.

well, it effects my chickens...stupid nags quit laying eggs! 

I imagine wait a few days and see what happens.
