I have a pretty bad head cold (which, when combined with my lovely m/s I
thought may have been a flu, but it's not) and I'm supposed to work a
Graduate School Fair tomorrow out of town. It would be a one day trip
(leave at 6:30am get back about 6:30pm) but I'll be in a car for 3 hours
each way and then coming in contact with literally hundreds of people
at the fair itself. I know my immune system is suppressed right now so
I'm not sure if I should take the chance on getting sicker and/or making
others sick? There are two of us that are supposed to go so the fair
would still be covered and there is typically only one of us anyways...

You say it's a pretty bad head cold, so I would skip it. Not only will you probably get sicker as you get more tired, but you could spread your cold to others. If there is only typically one of you there anyway, it doesn't seem like it'll be a huge inconvenience for your colleague.
hope you feel better soon!
I agree.
Feel better hon!
