Anyone converted their aplix to snaps?

My BG 3.0s are pathetic. To add to that, we are buying FB Smalls for the new baby, and I don't want the BG's to mess up those diapers as well. If you converted from aplix to snaps, did you do it yourself, or did you send them out to someone else to do it for you? What was your total investment? TIA!

I did it myself. I bought snap pliers from kamsnaps.com.  They give you a discount on 200 snap sets (in two colors) when you buy pliers, and free shipping, and I think the total was $35.  I needed more snaps because I had 15 diapers to do, but I can't remember how much the total was.  It depends, too, on how many rows of snaps you want.  I experimented and found that I liked two rows of 10 on the front.  So I needed 20 sockets and four snaps (two on each wing) per diaper.

DH and I both converted a couple diapers.  We bought pliers and snaps and followed a youtube video.  Very easy.  We had to send one diaper to www.convertmydiapers.com because it was BG organic AIO and it would have been way to complicated for us to do on our own.  I think we spent $35 on pliers and snaps.
