skin changes

So I have had to remove all my white gold rings (including my wedding bands) because since I got my BFP I have had a red dry rash under them. Before BFP I would get dry skin under my rings, but this is red and now inflamed and very painful and this morning it is leaking serous fluid. I have heard of skin changes, but new allergies? Anyone else having issues. I am really sad that I may not be able to wear my wedding rings for the rest of this pregnancy

Could it be because after washing your hands water is getting trapped underneath your rings?  That's happened to me before, or is it happening with all your jewelry?  I haven't heard of allergies developing during pregnancy but it could be.
