Babymoon is such a silly word but

I guess that's what it is. We're leaving in the morning to spend the rest of the week reading on a quiet, secluded beach. We booked this trip back in May so I guess it just ended up being a babymoon. This is the first trip we've ever taken alone without family, without friends, for no reason other than that we just want to in the 10 years we've been together. Crazy.

I told my mom about it the other day and she said, "Oh, perfect! Enjoy the peace and quiet because this will be the last time you have any of that."

Ha. Thanks, Mom.

So I guess this is it. The end of an era. I'm ready for the next stage but I'm definitely going to savor this last hurrah.

That sounds nice. We just booked a trip to our condo in Naple, FL in December. It can't come soon enough....

We're going to Sardinia at the end of this month to sit on a beach and do nothing else. Not the kind of trip we normally take - we're usually on the go cramming as much in as possible. DH thinks we might get a little bored. I'm thinking it's going to be pure perfection!

Were going to Vegas the 3rd week in Nov to get married. Well be there for 5 days, so its going to be weddinghoneymoonabymoon all in one! Im going to enjoy every minute because i kno it will be a long time before We going away again!

Lucky girl! That is one thing I wish we would have done! We're finally getting away in a few weeks, but it will be different considering I'm leaving my son with my mom and I'm pregnant again! Your mom is right! Enjoy your peace and quiet now!
