failed the 1 hour glucose test- 176

I thought that I was going to fail this one b/c I tested my blood sugar with an accucheck right after I left the lab (I'm SOOOOOO impatient these days!) and that was 169.  Well, just got a call from my MD and my official lab result is 176.  So, I now have to go have the lovely 3 hour test done.  I'm going to schedule this, and then eat really healthy for the week leading up to it and see if it changes anything.  My dr says that it's ok to fail one of the tests during the 3 hour, but failing 2 or more is an automatic diagnosis of GD.

 So, now on top of the lovenox injections, MTHFR, homocystiene issue, short cervix and increased risk of DS I now have THIS to deal with.  UUGGGGHHHH!!!!!! 

 OK, vent over.  things could be worse.  time to suck it up and put on my big girl panties and deal with it.  thanks for listening to me.

Ugh!  I was really upset when I failed my one-hour too and since I didn't fail by much (142, I think) I was sure I was going to pass the 3-hour...  Unfortunately I didn't but I've found the diet really easy and I actually need to eat more food and more carbs than I was before.  GL!  There's lots of us here, so keep us posted.

sorry you failed the 1 hr... but good luck on the 3 hr Hopefully it will turn out okay... and if you do fail so far the GD diet and testing hasn't been as bad as I was expecting.
