I was a nervous wreck last night and this morning, but when we got in there we saw our little baby measuring 3 days ahead with a heartbeat of 173! There were even arms and one was waving to us.
It was amazing. Thanks for all the well wishes this morning. I really was a mess.
Now my RE had previously said that I would come back at 10 weeks for another u/s and then be released to the OB. He was not there today so we met with a different RE in the practice after the u/s to go over everything. She said that we could go ahead and just go on to the OB and that if we haven't found one yet by 10 weeks come back in. Said she usually releases patients earlier than my RE. I think I know what OB I want to go with, but I kinda don't want to give up my 10 week u/s. Is that wrong? I was thinking of making my OB appt for 11 weeks or so and keeping the u/s for week 10. What would you ladies do?
Re: great u/s!

IVF #2 Aug 2011 is a BFN:<
IVF #3 March 2012 is a BFN
Not sure what to do now. Sad and lost.
I'm not one to respond about REs right now (I'm really not liking my RE) .. however, if I liked my RE I would probably do what the pp said ... stay till 10 wks then maybe do the NT scan with your OB ...
Congrats on having a great u/s!!
Glad to hear everything looked great! Congrats!
I would call your OB office and see when they can get you in for a first appt and what it usually entails. They might not be able to get you in in 2 weeks and then you would want to keep your 10 week appt at the RE.

I am glad you had a great appt
If I were you, I would call your OB's office and see when the soonest appt is; it may not be for a few weeks after your 10w with your RE. My RE requires, or heavily suggests, that we are seen within 2 weeks of being released from him. I was not able to get in with my OB for 2.5 weeks, but they were able to sqeeze me in for just an early u/s... so, you could ask about that too!
Good luck!
I ditto this - with my frist OB it took awhile to get an appt and then I switched OBs. I ended up staying with my RE for one u/s after my first OB appt. I'm an u/s whore though.
So glad to hear that it went well!
Your ob might do an u/s at your first appt.
