Ok, so last week I had what seemed like a fairly normal period. It was
pretty light but it came on time (Tuesday). It started with what seemed like strong red blood flow but for the next couple days when I changed my tampon it was dark and didn't really soak the tampon. However, since last Sunday I
have been nauseous on and off almost everyday along with having a
backache. I have also had to pee more frequently. I know this sounds crazy but....is there a chance I am
pregnant????
Re: Some help please? I don't want to get my hopes up if there isn't hope
I'd suggest taking another one.
I agree with the others... your symptoms sound like a UTI.
If you were pregnant, it would probably be a little too early to be experiencing nausea and frequent urination.
Anything is possible, though. POAS again and see what happens. And see your doctor.
Some people can have a full period and still be pregnant. The only way to know for sure is to take a test.

If you bleed during pregnancy it's not "AF". It's impossible to get a period when you're pregnant. But it is possible to bleed or spot during pregnancy, and mistake it for a period.
Just wanted to clear that up.
You can still have what looks like a full period while PG so yes it is possible(you can't have AF when PG). You are on CD 6, the previous cycle is when you would have become PG so you should POAS and test because, if you are, you will(or should) get a positive at this point.
To me it sounds like a UTI though. Also, be aware of phantom symptoms. They can be just as real as PG symptoms.
this if you think you are because if you are it should come up positive by now.
Seriously: you probably have a UTI. I have one, and my main symptom was a backache and having to pee frequently.
I'm sorry you're not pg, but you really should see a doctor.
I don't understand these posts. I never will.
You had your period and have not taken a pregnancy test. I'm gonna go with no, you're not pregnant.
But HPTs take minutes. And then you would have, you know, an ACTUAL answer.
Since you asked, it sounds like you have a UTI to me. But as I am neither an HPT or a doctor you saw for an exam - take that as you will.
ETA: Ah, I see you had a negative pregnancy test. Which pretty much answers that. Might have been good to include that in the OP.
You took a test a week ago and it was negative, from one of your responses. I was referring to that.
This isn't asking for advice. This is "do you think I'm pregnant?" There is NO way to answer that question with any actual authority. So sorry, but no, I don't get it and I don't see how it would help you to feel better to have a bunch of people who cannot see inside your ute make shot-in-the-dark guesses as to whether or not you are pregnant.
To be fair she asked if there was a "chance" she was pregnant. To which with all authority we can answer yes. She never asked what her chances were. Plus people on the Bump have ute goggles dontcha know!
Oh please. If you think this was judgemental, you are not going to enjoy this site at all.
How could we tell you, with any authority, if it's a waste of time to take a test? Tests take a second to pee on, first of all.
And more to the point, what if everyone had said "nah, don't pee on a stick." Would you then not do it? Really? That's pretty scary that you give internet strangers that much control over your life, or need validation from a message board to go urinate on a piece of plastic.
I really do need to get mine back from the shop.
I didn't get any when I signed up, can I still order a pair?
It's a three minute test....it seems to me more a waste of time to post here for advice than to just take a test and get it over with.
