  • My boyfriend likes Rilee spelled this way because it's the way his middle name is spelled, so thats the way we are going to keep it.

  • Nolan is my fav.

Please don't name your child Aiden, or any other name that ends in -aiden

  • Aiden -- too popular for me... feels over-used
Caine -- I don't understand the point of the "e" on the end... the proper spelling is "Cain". Even if spelled properly, I wouldn't use it since Cain is considered the first to commit murder (Biblical character).
Declan -- I know a lot of people on this board will disagree with me, but I think this name just sounds funny... doesn't sound attractive at all to my ears.
Finn -- I really like this name. Classic, simple, full of character and spunk. Good choice.
Grady -- Meh. There are so many nicer names out there for a boy/man... I don't get the appeal of Grady.
Keagen -- Doesn't get my vote... too trendy and it's misspelled. The original irish name/spelling is Keegan.
Madden -- Makes me think of the NFL. Don't like that it can be shortened to "Mad"... even "Maddie" isn't good since it's a common nickname for girls with the name Madeline (etc).
    Nolan -- Like.
    Ronan -- Like.
Rory -- Meh. Doesn't seem like it would mature well. Not a very masculine name.
Rilee -- Terrible, cutesy and butchered spelling. I actually like name name Riley/Reilly, but only when spelled properly. Keep in mind that this is very much a unisex name.
    Tyrone -- Dislike.
Bode -- This is a name? I thought it was a verb.
    Brynner -- Terrible, made-up name.
Dirk -- Too close to ***. It's also pretty nerdy.
Fritz -- I'm on the fence with this one.
Kyler -- Terrible, made-up variation/combination of Kyle or Tyler... which aren't even very nice names to begin with.
Lukas -- Like, but strongly prefer Luke.  Hope that helps!

  • My thoughts:

Aiden - Unless you're okay with your child being one of a dozen Aiden/Brayden/Cadens in his class his whole life, I would strongly recommend picking something else.

Caine - I don't think anyone should share a name with the jerk who famously committed the first murder in the Bible.

    Declan - Eh. It's okay.

    Finn - Yes

Grady - I prefer Brady, but it's not bad at all.

Keagen - It's okay. Though I prefer the Keegan spelling.

    Madden - No

    Nolan - Yes

    Ronan - Eh. It's okay.

Rory - Thanks to "Gillmore Girls," I only see this as a girls' name.

Rilee - I don't like this for a boy or girl, but I especially don't like it with that feminine youneek spelling.

    Tyrone - No

Bode - As in "this doesn't bode well"?

Brynner - This is a term my husband uses when we have breakfast for dinner.

Dirk - I actually like this name, but I'm pretty sure it's just a nickname for John. What about Kirk?

Fritz - No Not in this country. Not in this century.

Kyler - What's wrong with Kyle?

    Lukas - Yes

  • My favorite from the list is Cain. I had no idea it was a biblical character and I don't really care.

  • I hate to sound mean, but I'm seriously not going to respond to posts anymore when the OP only has a few posts.

I just think that more than likely it is just MUD. Especially when the post contains a lot names that are yooneek and the OP lacks proper grammar skills.

It's just someone trying to stir things up because they know people on this board hate that kind of stuff. It's a waste of time to respond to these types of posts IMO.

  • I like Declan and Lucas (not spelled with a K).  The rest are nms.
