Having a tough IF day

I seem to be in a funk today that I can't shake.  My younger sister, my BIL and niece are coming from FL to my family's place in MD.  My sister and I grew up in MD. DH and I live only an hour away in PA, so we'll see them tomorrow.  My niece is 5 months old.  We visited them in FL over 4th of July weekend. This is my niece's first trip to MD and to see our extended family.  I must admit I'm a little jealous.  Everyone is making such a big fuss about the visit, which I completely understand.  But I can't keep shaking these feelings of jealousy. I should have had the first baby. I'm the older sister and my DH and I have been married a lot longer than my sister and her hubby have.  In fact, we have been doing IF treatments longer than my sister and her hubby have been married.  And my sister got pg so easily and they weren't even married that long. 

I am not looking forward to my extended family oohing and ahhing over my niece tomorrow.  Most of them know about our IF struggles so they shouldn't be asking when we're going to have kids.  

I think I should also give up FB!  I get tired of seeing all the baby pics.  I swear sometimes it seems as though people don't have a life outside of their kids, according to FB.  I hope to never be that way if and when we have kids.  

Sorry for my long vent.

If it makes you feel any better, you are not wrong for feeling some jealousy. I often feel like you. Just take a deep breath and enjoy the wine . I hear you on the FB piece. I broke it off three months ago and can say it's helped with my healing. Just a thought. I wish you the strength to get through the weekend and find time to enjoy yourself! ((hugs))

Totally understand your feelings, so don't feel bad about them!  I hope that everything goes smoothly and maybe you and your hubby can get away from the ooo-ing and aa-ing a little bit...

I'm sorry.  We've all been there hon.  It does suck and it's not easy.  At least they won't ask you about when you're having kids, which I knew took a big weight off me.  I do think for all your sanity you should take a FB break.  It's the main reason I don't have FB.  ((HUGS)).
