I am looking to get JAck a pair of shoes to wear around the house, slipper like shoes. I can't see paying $30-40 on a pair of shoes he will wear a month or so.
Would buying from payless be bad, are there shoes just as good?

I got a pair of Robeez on ebay (they are used) for $5.25 with shipping.
At this stage I would think payless shoes are fine as long as they are soft soled. When he is walking more I might spring for the more expensive shoes to ensure a good fit.
I would think as long as they're soft sole shoes, they'd be just fine.
FYI, Target sells shoes that are identical to Robees for like, $12.
We have them and he has loved them since he was 3 months. We got them for extra warmth during the winter but now that he is cruising he wears them all the time.
