Finished painting the nursery today

I mean spare room...no no I really do mean nursery.  After I put the curtains up (when the paint dries)  I am going to put an update in my blog.  Right now I find doing stuff like this helps me think positive.  We will have a child to put in that room, I have to believe that, even if its not a child I give birth to.  Our child will sleep and play and grow in that room.  And if we're lucky enough he/she will have a sibling to share the room with..

Plus it's one less thing to worry about if I do get KU.

Our "nursery" is our junk room right now.  I have plans to clean it out soon and set up the crib my friend gave me.

I can't wait to see the pics.  Did you go with that pretty light blue color?  I'm sure it looks great and I hope you get your take-home baby to put in it soon.

Good for you!!  That is a good way to think as well!  I actually just got done cleaning out all the clutter in Keely's room.  It sucks, but like you, I know that one day I will have a child to grow up in that room.

Yes I went with the Aqua Bay.  At first I was a little worried about the green blueness of it all (the walls were cream from the last owner), but now I am loving it.  I can't wait to put up curtains tomorrow!  Once they're up I will post pics.  I also need to find a slipcover bc the couch that is in there does not go at all ( I plan to keep it in there for BFing and company for now...its very comfy to sleep on).

I think this is a great idea! We've been thinking we want to get the nursery in order as well, not all of it but at least get it painted and go from there slowly. It is healing to do things for your future children.
