I am taking DS to his first Gopher football game tomorrow. I am a huge U of MN football fan and we got free tickets so I figured why not. Anyone have suggestions for preparing for the day. He's been to some baseball games so I am not to worried about the crowd.. My biggest question is transportation. The parking situation around campus is very tight. In the past we have taken a shuttle from another area of campus to the stadium. Since I can't take a stroller or car seat into the game do I just hold him in my lap on the ride over?
Re: Football Games and Baby
I am super jealous first of all. (GO GOPHERS)!
I would still take the connector and just let him ride in your lap. Hopefully the students won't be d-bags about giving up a seat for you on the way over. Also, just have something to distract him if he gets a bit fussy - although, if he cries at the game I doubt anyone will hear it, lol!
Have fun!
Thanks for the advice. I'm so excited especially because we are moving out of state in a month and I was convinced that I just wouldn't be able to get to a game this year. There are definitely benefits to having a really good friend who is still finishing her degree.
I'm not super worried about during the game he's been to a couple Twins games and if he gets fussy I just walk with him. I'm just hoping that the baby sling still works for a little arm relief.
