And it upsets me so much! I work from home and I get so busy during the day that I forget to eat. I just looked down at the clock on my computer and it is already after 5! I haven't had anything to eat since this morning, and it was only about 300 calories. I only filled my water bottle up once today and drank all of that, but no other liquids.
I feel terrible about this. I try to remember and when I do I get sidetracked and the day flies away from me and I end up where I am.
I am so pissed at myself!!!! UGH!!!!

This is hard for me to fathom since I am hungry ALL.DAY.LONG.
The alarm's a good idea! Feed those babies! One of the twin books I read said the weight you gain in the 1st half of PG does more to determine birth weight than the weight you gain at the end, so time to fatten them up!
thanks for the suggestions, and I know it is so stupid. I am hungry and I do think about eating, but then my phone rings, or an email comes in that I have to take care of right away. and one thing leads to another and I don't get to break away to eat.
I think my best plan is to just keep some food in my office... since I work from home it should be easy to keep things in my drawers, etc...
Like I mentioned before, I feel terrible about this and so ridiculously stupid too
Especially because I have wanted this for so long that it is just ridiculous that I forget to do the most important thing during the day!
Thank you for not attacking me though
I really love the alarm idea. Also, keeping snacks near is great too.
The problem is that you set your own schedule, therefore you easily will work through breaks that you need. Think about this, a regular 8 hour shift would allow you a 30 minute lunch and two 15 minute breaks (by law). So, unless you want to sue yourself, you need to take those breaks!
don't stress! If your body needs food it will start telling you
The liquids are more important anyway. If you only think about what's right in front of you while you are working (I'm the same way) get a bigger water bottle (in fact, get two) and put them on your desk every morning.
As for snacks/eating. When you get up to go potty (which you will) swing by the kitchen and grab an apple or something before heading back to work.
It's still early hon, don't stress!!
This
Try not to beat yourself up, but definitely use alarms to make sure you're eating and snacking!
