Pregnant after IF

***Monty***

Guess who else is anemic? sigh.

And I eat lots of beef, since chicken is still touch and go for me.

Ugh. Let's hope the supps help!

How are you doing otherwise? I went to my first MoMs club meeting the other night and was sitting next to a trip mom (they're now 7 months) so thought of you :) - she had no family help around and was pretty calm and relaxed, I thought!

  • Boo!  I'm sorry to hear that. It's so hard to tell what symptoms I have are anemia and what are pregnancy but I hope the extra iron helps all around, YKIM?  I'm also eating a bowl of total cereal everyday, my nurse recommended it since it's got extra iron.  I hope we both kick it!

I'm doing pretty well, other than being super tired I feel pretty good.  I sure hope I'm calm and relaxed after 7 months with trips!  :-)

I can't believe that you're 22 weeks!!!!  How are you feeling otherwise?

  • Oh, good idea about the cereal - I could always use yet another snack every day :)

Feeling pretty good overall, a bit of back pain but not too bad so far. I've dropped my work sched to 50% which was psychologically hard but I think is helping me a lot with my energy and sanity. Lots to do around the house (cleaning closets, renos etc.) so I feel like i can go at a bit of a slower pace than if I were working full time and trying to fit it in on evenings and weekends.

Are you working a lot less now too?

  • Good for you for cutting back at work, I'm sure it is hard to cut back but I'm sure it's worth it for you and the babies.  I'm still full time, but I work from home 3 days a week.  I'm trying to stay full time as long as possible for the money, I'm a freelancer and I don't get paid if I don't work.  I am stressing about getting this house organized, I haven't done anything yet!!!!  That alone should be relaxing for you.

  • It is SO hard to leave work - esp. since we own the company - so, when I don't work I don't get paid either, but we are lucky in that we can manage ok and my salary is now going to pay someone else to do my job...mostly ;)

I also have no family nearby - SIL is 1 hr away but we don't see her too much - so I feel like I am on my own a lot getting-ready-wise. I have only bought 1 thing (some bedding) for the babies so far so even though I am doing stuff around the house, so far none of it is baby-related. ha!!
