how long til your LO got accustomed to wearing shoes?

When Ive tried them on DD, either her legs go limp, or she acts like a cat with tape on its paws...either way, it doesnt happen

Good question, I wanna know as well. DS keeps trying to take them off or he'll shove that foot and start chewing..

I got a pair of flexible soled Stride Rite shoes for him the other day... I just put them on once in a while so he can get used to wearing them.  He isn't a huge fan, but the more you put them on, the more they will get used to them.

DD isn't walking yet, just cruising (for about a month).  She doesn't mind the soft-soled shoes at all (we have a pair of Robeez) but she stumbles/trips when wearing a hard-soled shoe.  I haven't put shoes on her very often though.

dd has been wearing robeez since she was 1 month old cause they were so fricken cute (and her socks wouldn't stay on), then she was wearing the harder soled walking shoes by robeez so she wouldn't slip on the tile entry and smack her face on the slider door (it happened many times after she started pulling up and cruising)

Now she is totally fine, we have some semi soft soled shoes from target that she does good with. she still thinks they are fun to play with though.
