Did no one else notice that they were basically wearing burger kind crowns and fuzzed out in the back ground were "real" crowns?

Yeah you can see there is a real "king" in the background with his face blurred and then there are the two of them with their cheap-o crowns. The only thing I could think is that maybe they are juniors and that was the senior king behind them, or are they seniors too!?!?

Regardless, I watched that episode last night and Catelynns mom needs to put down the meth pipe. That b!tch is out of control.

eta: I am also pretty convinced that "The Adventures of Farrah" (aka the speed dating and the CL scam/convos with Brian the Banker) were set up by MTV too.

Seriously, the only reason they are winning it is because they are on MTV.  I love those two, don't get me wrong, they're my favorite but come on?  If they were never on TV and she was just another pregnant girl in high school her peers would have outcasted her like anyone else.  The fact that I'm even giving a rat's ass about any of this at this moment is beyond me.

I just watched it this morning and thought the same thing - why did they look so cheap, why did a fuzzed out person behind them seem to have a much better crown and why were their names announced with no fanfare and they had to put their own crowns on in a corner?  Not believable.

Caitlyn and her mom? That mom is also not believable. Breaks my heart.

Ok, here is my 2 cents.

I agree with the pp that they are probably the junior king and queen as opposed to senior (hence the not so nice crowns)

I also think that if it was set up for mtv, some teenager would be coming forth to people magazine or star magazine to say it was fake for the show so they could get a little money and some 15 minutes for themselves

I thought it was fake too. 

The only reason I can see the people in the background with the "real" crowns being there is if they were last year's king and queen who come to crown the new winners.  That's how they did it in our school anyway.

But the crowns and the announcement seemed really cheesey and fake.  Lame.
