my washer is from the 90's. It has three temp modes, hot/cold, warm/cold, and cold/cold. it has a regular cycle, a perm press cycle, and a delicate cycle.
when things say "hot rinse," does this mean I need to actually watch the washer and stop it at a certain point? I'm looking to prep my dipes all together for the first wash, and then of course my prefolds need to go round about 5 more times after that. I have 6 AIOs, 3 covers, and 20 prefolds so far.
please school me on this? TIA!
Re: pre-wear washing question - prefolds and AIOs
You don't have a rinse cycle? Hmmm, that makes it tougher.
Yes, I guess you'd have to stop it at a certain poing.
If you were prepping, I'd just do a series of hot/cold wash cycles and not worry about rinse cycles until you're actually using the diapers.
I'm going to have to check when I get home, but off the top of my head, I don't recall anything on my machine that just lets you rinse. shows you how much I pay attention to that stuff though, lol.

More than certain that you can do a regular cycle without any detergent as your rinse. I did, works brilliantly.

Wait. People use a hot rinse?
Hot/cold is what I used to prep my diapers. Threw them in the dryer in between washes.
