Hey ladies!
DS has this. I noticed it over the past week and I started to place his toys and everything so he will look to the left instead of always looking to the right, I'm giving him plenty of tummy time, and I am also turning his head at night so that he will not sleep on the flat side. He sleeps on his tummy during the day, while I, or my mom who watches him while I'm at work, checks on him very frequently.
I took him in for his 2 month appointment today and the pedi confirmed that DS does indeed have plagio and it is mild to moderate. He said that I can continue to do what I am doing and that it should get better on it's own. He said some people spend $3500 on helmets, but that it isn't necessary because plagio does not pose any health threats. He said that his son had this as well and he is now 8 years old and no one thinks he's funny looking - he's a cute kid. So...I'm not sure if he meant his kid's head is still shaped abnormally or what!?
I'm wondering if any of your LOs had plagio, and if so, were you able to correct it by monitoring his head position while sleeping, playing, etc.? Did it just get better as your LO started sitting up, etc.? Or did you need a helmet?
Any other advice is greatly appreciated as well!

Re: positional plagiocephaly
My baby had plagio and torticollis. We tried positioning for about 3 months with no success. We did one round with a helmet to even things out.
There are a lot of helmet-mamas on here and I like a few others with plagio that didn't do a helmet. I can't speak for anyone else's results.
