XP: Cervical length check with MFM today- what to expect

Hi ladies- I am a regular on PAIF.  About a week ago, at my anatomy scan, my doctor found my cervix to be 2.5cm.  He said anywhere between 3 and 4cm is normal and is now referring me to an MFM today. 

What can I expect?  Is it just the trans-vaginal u/s?  How long did it take?  Will they want me to come back weekly?

They've been checking mine bi-weekly since 20 weeks.   Takes maybe 5 min total.  They measure it, then measure the length again after applying pressure (to simulate the pressure exerted when you're standing).  They didn't do it at this week's appt (35 weeks), probably b/c I'll be full term next week anyway.

I started having CL checks at week 18 & have them every 2 weeks. It is checked by Trans-vaginal u/s. The measurements are taken 3 times over 3 minutes. I too will have my last CL measurement at week 35.
