Soy and Milk formula ?

Back story:  My DD has been on Similac advance since around 4 months and my MIL also was buying it too so we wouldn't have to always pack a bag to be over there. She has always bought the same stuff and then when I went over there this past weekend I went to make DD a bottle and noticed she bought Soy formula. She drinks soy milk and is on a health food kick.

Question: Is that going to make DD sick if she is being switched between soy and milk based formula?

 Its not all the time but every friday she is over there. I feel bad, because I know she probably just saw that it was soy and thought it would be better for her (She didn't use formula at all with DH or SIL). I have to take DD over there tomorrow and I'm nervous to say anything. TIA

I think you should bring your own can over there and just nicely say that you noticed that she bought the wrong stuff.  I'm sure she didn't do it to be mean but then you are correcting the situtation so that DD is eating what you want her to.  There is no reason for her to be on soy if she isn't allergic to the regular formula.
