OBGYN in Providence area?

Does anyone have recommendations for a great OB-GYN in the Providence area? I've looked at Center for OBGYN and Caring for Women, but would like some input before making appointments. Just found out yesterday, first time, starting 6th week and SO NERVOUS! Thanks friends :)

Re: OBGYN in Providence area?

  • Hi, I'm from Rhode Island, I actually have a 4 month old son in the NICU at W&I, and my son's NICU RN recommended Center for OBGYN.  They are wonderful, I'm currently seeing Dr. Caitlin St. Aubin.  She has a great bedside manor, and she really knows what she is talking about.  I'm currently 6 weeks pregnant.  They have a beautiful office also.

  • I would post this on your local board, I'm sure they'll have a lot of recommendations.

  • Thank you! Best of luck to you and your family.
  • i go to Broadway OB/GYN on Eddy St. in Prov. or their Woonsocket office.  I see Dr. Gange (for the past 14 yrs.) and love her!  She even delivered my son at W&I.

  • I highly recommend Dr. Beitle.  His office is on Eddy Street next to Women and Infants.  I had an extremely high risk first pregnancy, so this time around I went to the specialits at W&I and asked them to recommend an OBGYN.  The head of the high risk dept. there recommended Dr.  Beitle.  He is a 1 man show.  He does all of the appointments and all deliveries.  I heard he has only missed a handful in years.  Good Luck!
