Cervical length check with MFM today

What can I expect?  Is it just the trans-vag u/s?  How long did it take?  Will they want me to come back weekly?

I just had my baseline and it was a trans can U/S and they're having me come back in four weeks but I'm a little earlier than you. Hope it's right where it needs to be!

Mine have always been transvag with a manual check also.  At first I was told I wold be coming back every two to three weeks.   I had my first at 14 weeks then since it was so long ( around 5) I went back at 17wks and then 20 wks.  That is when I started every two weeks.  I have a check tomorrow at 26 weeks.  Oh and my MFM also does a quick abdominal ultrasound too, so I get to see my boys and get more pics of them at every appt.

Yep, they'll use the old dildo cam to see and measure your cervix.  It seriously takes like a minute to do.  Once I started getting mine, they had me come back every two weeks.

I care! Plus, I'm not getting mine measured until 25w6d and I'm a little worried about that idea...

I have been having them weekly.  They're usually pretty quick trans vag ultrasounds, although they usually do a quick abdominal one with me too just to look at baby and placenta.  If things hold steady they might cut back to every other week or something
