I am so relieved! DH has been looking for a new job for 9 months and I've had to pay for all the bills and mortgage on my own.
In July, we threw caution into the wind and TTC even though our money situation wasn't the best. I think babies can bring good luck because he got an offer today!
Yippy health insurance! It feels like such a luxury when you don't have it. Has your pregnancy brought good luck too?
Knock on wood things continue to go well.
Re: DH has finally gotten another job!
congrats to you and him
but you haven't had health insurance? Is pregnancy considered a pre-existing condition when you have a lapse in coverage? Or is that only for personal plans?
good luck.

We've had health insur through cobra. It's not perfect but its better than nothing. Pregnancy is partially covered. I don't know if personal plans would consider that a pre-exisiting condition hrm, not sure.
I am just happy that I don't have to be scared about cobra ending and having to pay for personal plans out of pocket.
ah. If you have cobra I don't think that would be an issue at all then. Cobra is expensive - so I bet your happy to be able to dump that soon!
congrats again.

My Blog
Congratulations!
It worked for us: laid off in February; BFP July 18; job interview Aug 9 (only interview in 6 months of looking); job offer Aug 12; started new job Aug 19
Haven't told them I'm pregnant yet -- waiting until we're past "magic" first trimester mark and will then break the news right after we come back from our previously planned anniversary trip to Australia (now the de facto babymoon)
It can if you're applying for a personal health care plan and not group coverage. At least in my state.
