I'm officially in love with this crib...

Clicky

It's so pretty!  I saw it in the store the other day, and I think we're pretty set on it.  I wish it came with a changing table, though...I may keep an eye out for one I like as much as this one that has a changing table with it.  We're not buying any furniture until after the first of the year anyway...but I'm crazy about this one!

And, this onsie:

  • Nice crib. It must only be available in the US as I didn't see it at BRU when I was looking. Are you dead seat on a changing table? I plan on putting a changing pad on our (short) dresser - I see there is a matching one for this crib.

  • This is the one we're getting... very similar and half the price.

I like it because the back is totally solid. I saw it in the store and it's sturdy.

  • We looked at the little dresser/changing table combo, but it's more expensive than the crib itself.  We may just do the changing pad thing as well...it'll free up a lot of room in the already small nursery anyway.   I'd like to have a rocking chair in there, and space is an issue.

  • That is a fantastic crib! We have it in Chestnut for DS. He has been in it for over 2 years now and it is still in great shape! We'll use it for Baby #2 and then convert it to a toddler bed.

It is well made (made by Munire - who sells cribs at $700+ as well). Just make sure to order some sort of cloth cover to tie over at least the front rail when little one can pull to standing and is teething. I think they also make covers for the side rails now as well. You definitely don't want little teeth marks in the beautiful wood!

Just watch for sales and coupons so you can get a better price on it. I think they've raised the price on this crib over the past few years because I don't remember it costing quite so much!

I really like that crib! And I agree, I love that the back is solid.

  • I fell in love with that one as well, but it was a little out of our price range. We went with this one from JCPenny's instead:

  • I've been wondering about these convertible cribs and such. Now reading this I think I might just go ahead and get me one of these :)

I have no personal experience with convertible cribs but I've known prob. 20 moms who bought convertible cribs that didn't make it out of toddlerhood. Teething has destryoed many and toddlers have scratched rails with rough toys as toddler beds. You never know until you try, I've know a couple people who never had a problem, but I'd say that most people would have bought a cheap crib then buy a normal twin/full set for the money of a 'nice' crib.

BTW I do think it is gorgeous!!!
