mirena... and pregnant?

Curious if any of you know of anyone that got pregnant while using mirena, I am considering taking a pregnancy test even though I am on mirena.  I have been on it since March and I have convinced myself I could seriously be pregnant.  I guess nothing is full proof though...

The chances are VERY unlikely, but if you've convinced yourself, by all means, POAS. But don't be surprised when it's a BFN.

lol, I was on Mirena for 2 1/2 years, I can't even tell you how many times I convinced myself that I was pregnant. Obviously, I was not. You can take a test for your own peace of mind, but I doubt it'll come up + and it'll be a waste of money. =o)

OMG this. That IUD seriously messes with your head! I would feel "movement" just like DD. Like something "kicking" me. I would freak out and think OMG, could I have missed a pregnancy to the point of FEELING the baby move??? I took a test every month I had that in... always neg.

Yes- I have a friend that had a IUD and became pregnant; I also assisted with a c/s birth where the baby literally had the IUD in it's hand when it was pulled out. I still remember the OB doc saying "that's why I don't recommend these to patients...".

There was one or two bumpies on 12-24 a few months ago that this happened to...I don't remember who though.
