Hey ladies.

 Some of you may remember me from the nest bama board and/or be on my fb. I've been MIA for quite some time. We found out Aug 16 that we were expecting. Unfortunately, at the RE office today my 2nd u/s only showed a gest. sac that hasn't grown in a week. I've opted for a d&c and was just curious if any of y'all had an experience. I had a natural m/c last time so I'm not familiar with having a d&c.  TIA girls!

    Totally remember you (and still enjoy keeping up with you on FB).  I'm SO sorry you are going through this.  I've never experienced it, but several others here have. Please stick around and vent or anything to any of us!

    Welcome back!  I'm so sorry for your loss.

    I had a d&c in May 2009.  The physical recovery was much easier than the emotional recovery.  I was put to sleep and don't remember anything.  I only had some light bleeding for the first 3 or 4 days and nothing after that.  I had some minimal cramping and pain the day of, but nothing a couple of advil couldn't cure.  I never even filled the prescription for pain pills.  I had the d&c on Thursday and went back to work on Monday.  I had restrictions on lifting for the first two weeks, but that was it.

    I remember you as well.  I don't have any experience with that but I wanted to say I am sorry for your loss.  I hope you come around more often.

    Hi, I remember you from way back on the Nest board days.  I lurk here and contribute when I can which is few and far between being IF.  I'm very sorry for your loss.  I don't have any experience, but I hope things go smoothly and you recover quickly.  Maybe check out the Miscarriage/Pregnancy Loss board for some advice.  *hugs*

    Thanks girls! It's nice to see some familiar faces Smile Everything is scheduled for tomorrow at 1pm. I just hope they give me some feel good drugs before surgery. Sad

     Sunny - From what I've read on your siggy, it looks like we are in the same boat. I was dx with pcos last November. Unfortunately, I couldn't stomach the metformin. He's talking about trying actos now since it doesn't have the nasty s/e. Are you using an RE yet?
