I'm trying to think of something simple (they were cowgirls last year). I dont love puffy storebought costumes. I'm looking for something I can make from their clothing. Any creative ideas? Thanks!
Since you're going homemade, my mom thought these pajamas would be cute with a tail sewn or pinned on the tush and ears attached to a headband. (Carter's also has one-piece fleece PJ's in the same pattern, but I wasn't sure whether your girls would still wear footed pajamas.)

Last year we had two twin girls (maybe 3) come trick-or-treating and one was a bumble bee and the other was a flower (both were home-made costumes). It was just so precious because the were racing to get up the stairs and peeking into each others honeycomb baskets. Just adorable

I think Gymboree has some adorable costumes, and not your typical store-bought costumes. GL
