50/50 Chance of Miscarriage

I went to the doctors yesterday expecting to be 8 weeks but it looks like I was only showing 5 1/2 weeks.  My doctor said I only had a 50/50 chance and could possibly miscarriage.  They took my levels and then are taking my levels again tomorrow - hoping they increase.

Hoping someone has a similar experience with a positive outcome to share - really nervous about tomorrow.

I'm sorry, but I don't have a positive outcome to share.  Did you see/hear a heartbeat?

My aunt had a similar diagnosis with her last pregnancy.  The next week she went back to the doctor and the baby was there.  She didn't have any complications the rest of the pregnancy and she delivered a healthy baby in March.

I have heard many women get told this and end up having a happy and healthy pregnancy... huge hugs... t&p with you and your little one.

I was given 50/50 chance after my first u/s with my first pregnancy. Had to go back a week later, and everything was fine.  It doesn't always happen, but hopefully it will be fine for you too!
