First BETA in and doesnt look good :(

They called me on Tuesday and I am pregnant but the nurse said my levels are very low.  My hcg is only 39.  I have to go back Thursday.  I am sooo upset.  After all this and the IUI finally worked and now this.....Did anyone have numbers this low and make it? This is my second pregnancy.  My daughter from the first one was through IVF and my HCG numbers were always so high.  Now this one is so low and the dr. just said your numbers are very low so come back Thursday so we can see if it doubles.  I also have the worst backpain and cramps...I just wish I could see the dr, today but he said nothing he can do until I have blood work tomorrow to see if HCG doubled...anyone feel this way and have a low HCG and now their pregnancy is going well??

    I know waiting for beta results is the worst, and I wish you the best of luck.  It's not the number (as long as it's more than 5-10), it's the rise - so I am hoping you see a great rise tomorrow.  If you go on www.betabase.info you can see successful pregnancies have started with lower numbers.  Hang in there!

    My 1st was 43 at 14dpo...so that's not very far off from yours. My second and third are in my siggy.  I'm now in my 24th week!  Just keep the faith!!

    This exactly.  And my first beta was only 45 or 48 - check siggy.  And then it doubled erratically which was so much fun and I was told this pregnancy wasn't looking good at one point. I'm 12.6 days today so there you go.

    have you been charting?  Any idea how many DPO you are?  Mine started out at 49.  I just had a fabulous first pre-natal appointment and it has been determined that I just ovulated later in my cycle than normal.  Good luck with everything!

    my first beta was a 4. clincial negative. But I had positives on two tests including a digital without fmu.

    that was at 11dpo

    it rose two days later to 64.

     

    There is always hope!! Prayers for you!

    My first beta was a 23 at 12dpo.  It was 64 at 14dpo.  I saw my baby last week and he/she is measuring right on schedule with a strong heartbeat.
