Gee, thanks doctor's office

After a few frustrating weeks of cramps and finding out that they seem unrelated to the baby, I went to the GP to see if they could run any tests for stones or UTI. I left a urine sample yesterday, telling them several times that I'm pregnant, so I understand that treatment options are limited. They call me back later in the day with this revelation... I'm pregnant! *facepalm*

This is the same GP that made an appt for me after telling them I'm pregnant. I checked in and told them I'm pregnant. I get in the office with the nurse who takes by BP then I tell her I'm pregnant. She got a disgusted look on her face and said they don't see OB patients. Could have told me that the first time.

  • Maybe I need a shirt to wear to the doctor's that says "I'm pregnant" or a stamp on my forehead...

  • That sucks. Time to find a new GP!
  • Your dr's office sounds a really unorganized.

I've been having cramps, too.  I got tested for stones last week and it came back negative.  They think I have an inflammed gallbladder, but the only option is surgery.  Obviously, I'd like to avoid that.

  • I have the worst luck finding doctors. I even did research on the main doctor at the GP, and everyone loved him. Guess I need to research how efficient the office is next time!

Hopefully I'll have some answers in a few days. I know my treatment options are limited, but I'd like to know what is going on! They act like I'm crazy for trying to figure out whats wrong even though most things can't be treated right now.
