HELP-trying to post my half baked pic... but i can't

20w2d.. I figured I should actually start taking pictures and documenting this!! Only problem is that I have no idea how to insert a picture into a post! I clicked on "insert image" but i have no clue an image url or any of that other info. Am I being dumb? HELP!

    I usually upload the pic to tinypic and then once it's uploaded, right click on the photo, click "view image info", then copy the image url that pops up and paste it in the image insert. Does that make sense?

    Thanks :-) It didn't even cross my mind to go into my Picasa account and get the url.
