At work today, we took our clients for a walk (I currently work in a group home for deaf-blind individuals) My good friend who i work with rushed out of the van to get the wheel chairs out for me (They are heavy and she knows how worried i've been about doing something to hurt myself or the baby!) She was sweet to get them out, and said I will lift them for you their too heavy, well our other co-worker says "She's pregnant not broken!" I just shrugged it off, but it really bothered me.. And my friend was pissed about it too. But we didn't let it show. It was totally un-called for. I know this, and everyone at work knows i've been pulling my weight, and running, and doing things i normally do, i'm not babying myself, but my friend knew that I shouldn't be lifting, and did me a favor... Wow... wish everyone at work could be so considerate!
Sorry just had to vent!
Re: "she's pregnant not broken!"
I would have just said "she was being nice, I don't think there are any laws against that"
She needs to MHOB.

It's great you have someone looking out for you and willing to help at work. The "negative nelly" is either.
1. A man
2. Single and childless
3. Had a child and no one to care and assist them!
You do what you're comfortable with and try not to let the bitter, negative people in this world get you down!
